House of widely known groups in the world of K-Pop such as Cosmic Girls, Ive, Monsta X, Cravity and others, Starship Entertainment will launch another training soon. The agency revealed that it will be a girl group whose name chosen was: Kiiikiii.
What do we already know about Kiiikiii?
On February 10, the company shared the official social media accounts group. In Tiktok and Instagram the user is @kiiikiii_official, while on Twitter the account is found when @we_kiiikiii is typed in the search bar.
There are no conceptual photos of the formation yet, but in Instagram feed there are already the first publications, which show records of various objects such as pencils, rings, shoes and books, all printed with “kiiikiii”. Among the posts stands out that of a royal person’s mohawk who was also personalized with the name of the group; look:
In subtitles there are phrases like “all my girls are glitter girls”, “all my girls are rock stars” and “I don’t act as a normal person” that besides igniting the idea that the group will follow a disruptive concept , they can even be title tips from the first tracks that will be released by training.
In addition, a publication may have revealed the names and quantity of members. It turns out that the photo shows five rings on top of paper bags signed with the names: Sudden, Suphin, Haum, Kya and Jiyu.
On the same social network, a teaser video was also published that shows a hammer beating a keyboard, causing laughter explosions that form the group name, Kiiikiii, before the preview ended with the following message: “soon.”
It has not yet been officially revealed details about the formation, the concept that will be applied to the group or the official debut of the girls, but the company promises that debut will be “innovative” for the South Korean pop music industry.
“Kiiikiii will present a new direction at K-Pop, mixing high-end visuals with innovative music for the multiplatform era. Please show a lot of expectation and interest while Kiiikii embarks on this journey, ”starship Entertainment told the press.
