One of the most anticipated events for K-Pop fans from all over the world has arrived! KCON announced this Friday, the 24th, that the 2025 event will take place May 9-11 in Chiba, Japan, and August 1-3 in Los Angeles, California.
The annual convention, which has become a true global phenomenon, is an immersive festival that goes far beyond performances by K-pop artists, offering a complete experience of Korean culture, with attractions in music, fashion, television, food and much more .
In the last edition of the event, held in 2024, presentations by BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN, STAYC, among others, were seen. This broke records, with KCON Japan welcoming an impressive 140,000 people, and the Los Angeles edition reaching an audience of over 5.4 million, both in person and through online platforms.
Furthermore, the Los Angeles event had the historic milestone of being broadcast live on the CW Network, making history by becoming the first K-pop program to be shown on prime-time American television.
Although so far only the Los Angeles and Japan events have been confirmed, it is expected that CJ ENM, the event organizer, will announce more stops for other cities and regions. Last year, the festival was held in Europe and Hong Kong, and in previous editions, in places such as Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
