One of the main actors in the ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ franchise is open to returning to new adaptations directed by Greta Gerwig; look!
The long-awaited adaptation of “The Chronicles of Narnia” directed by Greta Gerwing has been coming to life since Netflix got the rights to the saga of CS Lewis. We still don’t know which story will be adapted, with speculation strong that the director’s favorite candidate is “The Magician’s Nephew”.
Regarding the cast, only one confirmed name: Louis Partridge, actor who played the character Lord Tewksbury in the “Enola Holmes” franchise. With this information in mind, in an interview with ScreenRant, the actor William Moseleyknown for playing the iconic King Pedro in the franchise, revealed his interest in returning to the famous saga.
Moseley revealed his willingness to return to the role, although he reflected on the conclusion of his character’s story in the previous films. “If they asked me, I would go immediately,” said the actor. However, he made an important caveat when remembering Aslan’s words in the books: “Your time here is now over. Your time is finished.” For the actor, this phrase still resonates today, especially in relation to his own career as Pedro.
“I remember when I filmed that scene in Prince Caspian; It was a sad scene to film, but I understood at that time that when Aslan said that, my time was up,” the actor explained.
So, although the possibility of returning as Pedro is remote, he left open the chance to participate in other ways, perhaps playing characters like Mr. Tumnus or even Aslan himself.

Although details of the new project are still scarce, recording of the new saga is expected to begin between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn in the United States. The cast members have not yet been announced, but expectations are high surrounding the return of the franchise, which has already conquered the world with its fantasy and adventure stories.
