On behalf of BRIIZE, the official fan club, the boy group RIIZE donated to the foundation of musical projects for needy children
In a moving and generous action, the members of the boy group RIIZE donated around 100 million won (around R$413,300.00 at the current price) to the Walking With Us Children’s Foundation, a project for underprivileged children that provides experiences and learning from musical education to expand culture in the country. The donation was in the name of BRIIZE, the group’s official fandom.
According to Korean media, the action is part of an ongoing effort to Shotaro, Eunseok, WonBin, Sungchan, SoHee and Anton to promote the value of sharing. In December last year, the group had already donated profits from the sale of a special fan club item, “BRIIZE’s Lime Ticon”, created to celebrate the release of their first mini-album, RIIZING.
In total, RIIZE has already contributed more than 120 million won (R$ 495,960.00, at current prices) to projects aimed at the cultural and artistic education of young people in vulnerable situations. This amount includes support for All-Kids Stra and the Orchistra Upper Wind Orchestra.
The resources donated by the group will be used to provide access to culture and art, such as renting rehearsal rooms, holding classes and regular concerts. The group also demonstrated direct support for the program, participating in the orchestra’s 12th regular concert, entitled “What Love Says to Me”, held in November last year.
Kim Hyun-joodirector of Children Walking Together, expressed her gratitude:
“Thanks to RIIZE’s generosity, children and teenagers can learn music in a stable environment. I look forward to the stories that RIIZE, BRIIZE and All-Kids Stra will create together to bring hope to more people.”
In addition to its charitable activities, RIIZE continues to communicate with the public through music. Recently, the group released a re-recording of TVXQ’s song “Hug” as part of SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary celebration album, receiving praise for their performance.
