In Ternopil, a hole was discovered in the window of the diocesan premises belonging to the Cathedral of Faith, Hope, Love and Mother Sophia, located on Konovalets Street.
The press service of the Ternopil region police reported this today, January 22.
It is noted that the police received a message that unknown persons had shot through this window. An investigative team was dispatched to the scene of the incident.
Experts found a damaged window with a hole consistent with a shot, and near it the remains of a bullet, likely from an air gun, police said. — Church employees say that the crime occurred between January 18 and 21, since it was at this time that no one visited this premises.
Material evidence was seized and sent for examination. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
