This is because, in an interview with The Week, Jason Isaacsan actor who already auditioned for Aslan (a role he ended up getting Liam Neeson), listed his favorite books when he possibly revealed which of the books will be directed by Greta Gerwig for the streaming platform: “O Sobrinho do Mago”.

Even though the rumor has gained strength, it is possible for there to be a misinterpretation, as Isaacs he may also have been referring to the franchise in general, and not to the title mentioned as his favorite book when saying that a “film about it” will be made. Despite this, one thing is a fact: the adaptation will be different from the others. This is because the producer Amy Pascal revealed to Deadline that Gerwig will bring a “completely new approach” to the story and that there will be a “very rock and roll” feel.
