According to information circulated by the Korean press (via Soompi), their relationship has come to an end. Lee Chanhyukfrom AKMU, and Lee Saeromfromis_9. The news was speculated this Tuesday, January 21st. As reported, the singers broke up last year, after approximately a year of dating.
Rumors about the romance between the two began in October 2022, when they were seen together at a workshop, which sparked speculation among fans and the media. Furthermore, posts on social media that indicated that they both frequented the same places reinforced suspicions. However, at the time, both YG Entertainment, the Chanhyukas for PLEDIS Entertainment, then aSaeromchose not to confirm the rumors, citing a desire to preserve the artists’ privacy.
Although the relationship was kept confidential, the breakup appears to have been discreet, with no public statements or additional confirmations from either artist. YG Entertainment, in response to questions about the separation, reaffirmed its position of not commenting on the personal lives of its artists, maintaining the stance adopted during the dating rumors, therefore, it neither confirmed nor denied the separation.
