Following rumors sparked by the Korean media, Big Planet Made denied hiring five of the eight members of fromis_9
Agency Big Planet Made (BPM) denied rumors that five members of the fromis_9 group were moving to the company. On January 17, the Korean press (Via Soompi) had reported that Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Park Ji won, Lee Seo Yeon and Lee Na Gyung they would be negotiating with BPM, while the other members were looking for other agencies. However, the agency quickly dismissed the news, stating that the report was “unfounded.”
The group, formed in 2018 under CJ ENM, and later transferred to PLEDIS Entertainment in 2021, ended its contract with the former company on December 31st. The decision was announced in November, after mutual discussions between PLEDIS and the members. The agency thanked fans for their support throughout fromis_9’s journey and recognized the members’ dedication over the years.
To mark the end of this phase, fromis_9 released the digital single “from” on December 23rd. The song, co-written by the members, especially by Ha Youngwas dedicated to the fans, known as Flover.

In a statement, the group expressed, “We poured our hearts into writing this song as a letter to Flover. We hope our sincerity reaches you and warms your hearts this winter.”

However, the future of the members is still uncertain, with no official confirmations about new contracts or activities . Speculation surrounding Big Planet Made illustrates the interest surrounding the group’s next step. However, for now, fans are anxiously awaiting news about the fate of Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Park Ji Won, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Seo Yeon, Lee Chae Young, Lee Na Gyung and Baek Ji Heon.
