With an unusual and realistic proposal, the live-action “Bambi: An Adventure in the Forest”, based on the classic book by Felix Saltenfrom 1923, promises to provide a unique experience for viewers, bringing wildlife to create an adaptation that deviates from digital techniques: instead of using CGI, real animals were filmed in natural settings, bringing a unique authenticity to the story. The story follows Bambi, a young deer who, after losing his mother to hunters, must learn to live alone in the vast forest. The first trailer for the production already presents us with Bambi and his animal friends, such as the rabbit Tambor, portrayed in a naturalistic way, far from the fantasy tone of Disney’s 1942 animation.
The production of the plot is in the hands of the director Michel Fesslerwhich chooses to bring a different perspective to the 3D animations and digital remakes that have dominated recent cinema, having an innovative proposal and focusing on a more genuine and direct look at nature.
