In the LVIV region, a 72 -year -old man shot a neighbor’s dog when he accidentally ran into his yard. This was informed by the main police department in the LVIV region on Wednesday, August 20.
For a perfect attack, he faced up to three years in prison.
“On August 19, around 08pm, the police received a message from a 70 -Year -old resident of one of the stressky district villages about killing his dog,” the report said.
While law enforcement officials were installed, the dog ran into the neighbor’s patio, after which he was shot by a 72-year-old economy owner from the gun.
Law enforcement officials took the weapons. The dog’s body is sent for examination.
Investigators opened the criminal proceedings for brutal handling of animals under part 1 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The penalty provides for a restriction of independence for a term of one to three years or imprisonment for a term of two to three years.
The pre -trial investigation is currently ongoing.
Remember that in the village of Rovzhi in the Vyshgorod region, someone shot a dog neighbor from a hunting weapon because of a conflict. The attacking is threatening for up to three years in prison.
Law enforcement officials also opened the criminal proceedings against a 67-year-old resident of the LVIV region who shot a dog from a hunting rifle. The man explained his actions to the fact that the dog said “chased for his chickens.”
