From celebrating the group’s 10 years to new projects and military enlistment challenges, see what SEVENTEEN plans for 2025!
SEVENTEEN starts 2025 in full swing with the release of a new album and a new world tour, bringing the group to fans around the world. Additionally, members are also investing in individual projects: June is in China recording a new drama, while Woozi is leading the preparations for a new unit, which will be launched before enlistment for mandatory military service.
These moves are part of the celebrations for the group’s 10-year career, including a special tour that celebrates this remarkable trajectory. But the long-awaited party will not feature the full group. Since the end of 2024, Jeonghan is already fulfilling his military enlistment, and the ’96 line’ (Hoshi, Wonwoo and Woozi) is also preparing to follow the same path. Korean press sources (Via Koreaboo) indicate that Hoshi You can be the first to enlist, even in the first half of the year.
To overcome these absences, PLEDIS Entertainment has invested in strategies that keep SEVENTEEN present on the scene. Fans are already waiting for the release of the new album, titled “TELEPARTY”, by the BSS subunit (Seungkwan, DK and Hoshi) which is scheduled to premiere on January 8th.
It is also speculated in the Korean media that Woozi and Hoshi are preparing a new unit before their departure for enlistment. These initiatives ensure that the group remains connected to fans, even in a period of transition. So far, PLEDIS Entertainment has not yet released details about the members’ military enlistment plans.
Despite the challenges, CARATs remain firm, supporting SEVENTEEN’s every step. Since debuting a decade ago, the group has stood out for its self-produced music, unforgettable performances and a unique synergy between members. This legacy remains more alive than ever, even in the midst of changes.
