The American publication Variety published a list of 15 compositions that, according to the editors, are the worst in 2024.
The anti-rating includes songs from newcomers and first-tier stars, including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and Jon Bon Jovi.
Katy Perry’s track Woman’s World from her seventh album 143 took first place. The composition, which is dedicated to women, was heavily criticized for the singer’s collaboration with producer Dr. Luke, accused of sexual harassment. Listeners also noticed the difference between the lyrics and the video: the song talks about strong and independent women, while the video shows their sex appeal.
