Last episode of ‘Dragon’s Cave’ will be released

NEWS! During CCXP24, the creator of Jovem Nerd, Azaghalannounced the production of a final episode for the animation “Dragon’s Cave”, 40 years after the premiere of the plot. In partnership with Ogilvy Brasil and Hasbro, the episode will have a stop motion format and promises to show what happened to young people lost in a strange world.

‘Dragon’s Cave’ was released in early 1985, being an adaptation of the universe of the role-playing game ‘Dungeons & Dragons’, telling the story of a group of six young people in an amusement park who embark on a roller coaster called Dungeons & Dragons, and are teleported to a world called “Kingdom” through a magical portal, where they continue their adventures with the aim of finding a way home with the help of their guide, the Master of Wizards.

Arising as a fan idea, the new episode of the animation will be 15 minutes long, and will be developed by the Os Bonequinhos studio. The plot will follow some theories from admirers, with one of them being that the group actually stopped in hell, and the Master of Magicians is a demon, whose objective is to prevent them from realizing that they have died.

The new chapter will have the return of the voice actors from the original plot from the 80s, such as Marlene Costa (Sheila), Mario Jorge (Eric), Monica Rossi (Diana), Ricardo Schnetzer (Hank) and Nizo Netto (Mage Presto). As for Bobby’s dubbing, Henry Ogalla, who passed away in 2020, will be replaced by Pedro Alcantarawhile Walter Cruz will replace Ionei Silvaand Miguel Rosenberg will be the Master of Magicians.

The executive production of ‘Episódio Perdido’ is in charge of Alexandra Ottoni and Deive Pazos.

Although a release date for the work has not yet been revealed, it was revealed in the Jovem Nerd panel at CCXP24 that all the dolls that were used in the stop motion animation will be able to be purchased by Brazilian fans.
