In a statement that was recently made public, ADOR shares the 2025 plan they had prepared for NewJeans
Following the announcement of the termination of the contract — motivated by the violation of conditions — between the girl group NewJeans and ADOR, as of midnight this Friday, the 29th, the company went public to reveal the planning for the next year that they had drawn up for the quintet formed by Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein.
In the statement released, ADOR defends itself against the accusations regarding non-compliance with contractual obligations, stating that in the 2025 activity schedule the group would have a world tour, fan meetings, in addition to the release of a full album.
“We were sincere in fulfilling what is considered an important part of the exclusive contract – promotional activities and invitations, handling fees and payments, salaries, providing calculations and much more. We were planning a fan meeting, a full album, a world tour and much more for NewJeans activities in 2025.
Although we have continued to give our official statements and responses to the interviews and live broadcasts of the members and their parents, it is a shame that they are not giving us the chance to resolve these misunderstandings and issues through conversations and communication. We sincerely hope to be able to fulfill them as this is necessary to fulfill these plans for 2025.”
They also state that alignment meetings with teams responsible for creating concepts and the group’s music producers were already being scheduled.
In response to the legal notice email issued by NewJeans, the CEO of ADOR, Kim Ju Youngalso cited the dialogue with the CEO of HYBE Corporation, Lee Jae Sangabout efforts to promote the girl group more.
“Our company has been working hard to prepare for next year’s activities and the album concept. Unfortunately, Min Hee Jin informed us last week that she could not work with ADOR. Although we only had a week, our situation was too urgent to be disappointed.
Of course, our doors are always open, and if Min Hee Jin changes her mind and returns, that would be for the best. I received the report on the group’s plans and album concept for next year, and if the members are willing to participate, I have no doubt that we will create songs that include their sincerity and show their colors.
The most surprising part of receiving the letter was that the members were worried that they would be neglected without any plan. However, HYBE CEO Lee Jae Sang contacted me today (28 November) and revealed that he would not spare any support on a global level based on HYBE’s capabilities.”
