After NewJeans announced that they would no longer have their career managed by ADOR, fans of the group shared messages of support and relief over the decision
In an emergency press conference held this Thursday, the 28th, the members of NewJeans, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyeinannounced that they would terminate the exclusivity contracts they have with ADOR as of midnight on November 29th.
The decision was communicated because, at the time of the press conference, the quintet had not received a response from ADOR, and from the conglomerate that subsidizes the company, HYBE, regarding the rectification of significant violations of the group’s exclusive contracts requested in a certification of content the company sent by training at the beginning of this month. The agency had 14 days to respond to the document and the deadline ended on the date of the media event.
At the time, Hanni stated that in addition to the company’s lack of positioning, the group was leaving the agency, as “ADOR does not have the will or capacity to protect NewJeans”, in addition to saying that “mistreatment, not only against us, but also against our team, countless impediments and contradictions, deliberate communication failures and manipulation in several areas”, also accounted for the quintet choosing to no longer have their career managed by ADOR.
