1. Shrek

Just like the production that proves that humans and dragons can live in peace, the story of the ogre who has his world invaded by a fairytale creature could also become reality with the help of practical effects, prosthetics, and of course a lot of CGI .

Remember the story: The ogre Shrek loses his peace when a lord forces creatures to live in the swamp. Determined to get his peace back, he will have to find a way to reach an understanding with the nobleman.

Where to review: Prime Video and Globo Play

2. Origin of the Guardians

Likewise, it would be interesting to see figures like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, Boogeyman and many other characters from “Rise of the Guardians” through real actors.

Remember the story: When the Boogeyman tries to make children disbelieve in figures like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, they seek help from a renegade to fight evil.

3. The Road to El Dorado

Imagine the treasures and landscapes of “The Road to El Dorado” taking shape on the big screen through realistic images? It would be one of DreamWorks’ most beautiful films!

Remember the story: The story is about two con artists who get their hands on a map of the legendary city of gold, El Dorado, while pulling off some kind of scam. Their plan goes wrong and the bandits end up lost at sea after a series of misfortunes. Interestingly, they end up on the banks of El Dorado and are worshiped by the natives for their foreign appearance.

From the cutest ones like “ET: The Extra-Terrestrial” to the most tension-filled ones like “Signs”, alien invasion films are nothing new, but it would be interesting to see Susan Murphy’s awesomeness in live-action, as well as the group of aliens that join her to save the Earth.

Remember the story: A group of monsters are kept in a restricted area by the government. When Earth is threatened by an alien invasion, they are called upon to save the planet.

Where to review: Globo Play (for rental only)

5. Megamind

Megamind
Megamente – Reproduction/DreamWorks

From Marvel to DC, there are several superheroes that have had live-action versions in theaters. This way, reproducing the feature film “Megamente” with a real cast would be possible, as well as recreating the powerful action scenes where superhuman powers gain strength.

Remember the story: When the villain Megamind finally defeats his rival, he realizes that his life has lost meaning without anyone to face him. Now, you will have to find a new purpose.

Where to review: Prime Video (rental only)
