“Elio”, the next animation from Pixar Animation Studios, opens in theaters on June 12, 2025. Check out the trailer!
Pixar released this Thursday, the 21st, the trailer for its new animated film “Elio”, a feature that focuses on the 11-year-old boy Elio, who has a fertile imagination and is passionate about space and extra-terrestrials, who teleports to the Communiverse, being mistaken for the intergalactic ambassador of planet Earth.

“Elio” is directed by Adrian Molinadirector of “Viva A Vida É Uma Festa”, and produced by Mary Alice Drumm. The plot involves the inexperience and unpreparedness of the main character, who takes on the voice of Yonas Kibreaband his friendship with the aliens he encounters on his adventures, responsible for helping him discover who he really should be.
The film also features voices from Zoe Saldaña like Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly like Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Shirley Henderson like OOOOO and Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa.
What will Pixar’s next releases be?
The third part of the ‘Incredibles’ franchise was confirmed at this year’s D23 held in Anaheim, California, in the United States. Synopsis, cast members, production and release date have not yet been revealed, but the film’s logo was published on Pixar’s social media.
It is worth mentioning that there are titles that are also in the studio’s plans, but that have not yet had production confirmation, such as “Finding Nemo 3” and “Monsters Inc. 2”, which were commented on by the filmmaker Pete Docter (Inside Out) in an interview with EW, where he stated that ideas are being sought for both sequels.
