The Lion King’ is revealed

The new trailer for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ was revealed during the “Disney Studios” panel at D23 Brasil; See what happens in the scenes!

This Friday, the 8th, Disney presented fans of the universe that revolves around the cute lion Simba by releasing the new trailer for “Mufasa: The Lion King”, presented first-hand to those who guaranteed access to the “Disney Studios” panel from D23 Brasil; look!

In addition to the video preview, a new poster also appeared:

The production has the following synopsis: “Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, “Mufasa: The Lion King” enlists Rafiki to tell the legend of Mufasa to young cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa giving his personal touches. Told in flashbacks, the story presents Mufasa as an orphan cub, lost and alone until he meets a friendly little lion named Taka, the heir to a royal lineage. A transformative journey of an extraordinary group of misfits in search of their destinies, whose bonds will be tested as they work together to escape a menacing and deadly enemy. With songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the film combines live action filmmaking techniques with visuals. computer-generated photorealistic images.”

The characters’ official voice actors are: Aaron Pierre (Time) who gives voice to Mufasa; Kevin Harrison Jr. (The Chicago 7) who plays Taka, a character better known as Scar; Beyoncé Knowles-Carter who reprises the role of Nala, in addition to the singer’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carterwhich will be produced by Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala. Lin-Manuel Mirandafrom “Encanto” will sign the songs for the film directed by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight) and script signed by Jeff Nathanson.

“Mufasa: The Lion King” opens in national cinemas on December 9th this year.
