Recreio is present at the first edition of D23 Brasil and had the unique opportunity to check out the first minutes of “Moana 2”, the next Disney animation that premieres in Brazil on November 28th.
In the sequence shown during the Disney Animations panel, Moana begins by exploring an island next to Pua and Hei Hei, where the princess of Motonui claims to believe that there are other people in the region, and hopes that someday they will respond to her.
While returning to her home island, we see that, after the events of the first film, Moana became a heroine, having her story told to new generations who are inspired by her – even being called a “living legend”.
His return to Motonui is accompanied by the first new song from the film, sung in the Portuguese version by Any Gabrielly.
New characters?
With little time left until the long-awaited premiere of “Moana 2”, a production that will follow up on the first feature-length film about the tenth Disney princess released in 2016, fans have already seen through the previews that Moana will embark on a mission full of challenges and new responsibilities, since, while sailing the sea with new allies, he will also need to face new antagonists to fulfill the call he received from his ancestors.
This is because, the daughter of the chief of a community of the Motonui ethnic group from Polynesia, will face the distant seas of Oceania to find new people beyond the island where she lives and connect her community with other people, as shown in the official trailer.
