Check out what you can’t take to the event

COUNTDOWN! This weekend, on the 8th, 9th and 10th of November, the first edition of D23 Brasil, the famous Disney convention aimed at presenting the main news about premieres and productions, will take place at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo, capital. across all of the company’s brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic.

If you are going to attend the fair, and are also eager to participate in this historic moment, it is important to remember that, like any large-scale event, D23 also has a list of objects that, due to security measures, will not be admitted, and may be collected by security during the search.

But don’t worry, RECREIO has listed all the items that you cannot take to D23 Brasil. They are:

• Accessories such as: lenses, tripods, selfie stick, boom camera and camera stabilizer;
• Rigid packaging with a lid (such as plastic “Tupperware” containers);
• Styrofoam, cooler or any type of storage utensil;
• Cans;
• Alcoholic drinks;
• Helmets;
• Skateboard, bicycle, or any type of vehicle, motorized or not;
• Chairs/stools;
• Poisonous and/or toxic substances, including illegal drugs;
• Sharp objects;
• Piercing or cutting objects (such as scissors, box cutters, tweezers, nail clippers);
• Firearms or bladed weapons of any type (knives, pocket knives, etc.).

If you are a cosplayer and plan to cosplay at the event, you also need to pay attention to some rules. They are:

• Costumes cannot be obstructive, offensive or violent;
• Costumes cannot drag on the floor;
• Costume masks cannot obstruct vision and must be removable;
• Cosplay cannot contain pointed, sharp objects, or any type of material that could hit another guest;
• Costumes cannot be accompanied by weapons that resemble, can be used or are easily confused with, real weapons;
• If the cosplayer participates in a panel on the main stage, the costumes must fit on the seat without obstructing the view of others.

On the other hand, you can take processed foods in their original sealed packaging, sealed bottles and glasses of water or empty squeeze bottles. In addition, D23 Brasil will also have a food court with several gastronomic options, and drinking fountains located close to the toilets.
