With the release of a new mini-album and MV, Kep1er makes its first return to promotional activities after two members left the band
Kep1er is back! This Friday, the 1st, the group released the MV for “TIPI-TAP”, the title-track of the sixth mini-album of the group’s career, whose title is the same as the track; look!
In addition to “TIPI-TAP”, the album has four more tracks. They are: “sync-love”, “Drip”, “Bitter Taste” and “Heart Stuff”. The release can now be heard digitally through various music streaming platforms; listen on Spotify!
It is worth remembering that this is Kep1er’s first comeback in around five months, as, until then, the group’s most recent release had been the album “Kep1going On”, released in June.
“TIPI-TAP” also marks the group’s first with 7 members, as, in July this year, Mashiro and Yeseo They left the formation after not renewing their contract with the company responsible for managing the idols’ careers, WAKEONE Entertainment, as the time marked the end of the period stipulated for their presence in the group during the “Girls Planet 999” program. Therefore, Yujin, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, HueningBahiyyih and Youngeunwho renewed their agreement with the company, became the only active members of the group.
Furthermore, with the current return to promotional actions, Kep1er begins a new phase, since, from then on, the group’s activities began to be controlled not only by WAKEONE, but also by KLAP Entertainment, which signed a partnership for the management of the septet.

Formed through the program “Girls Planet 999”, produced by Korean broadcaster Mnet, Kep1er was supposed to debut on December 14, 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group’s debut was postponed and officially held on January 3, 2021. 2022 with their first extended play (EP) First Impact, which was accompanied by an MV for the title track “WA DA DA”.
