The former first lady, lauded by supporters of the Republican clan, took the stage at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday night to officially support her husband and presidential candidate.

“New York City and America must rediscover their magic,” she declared this Sunday, October 27, at her husband’s meeting in New York. After Donald Trump entered the presidential race against Kamala Harris, his wife, Melania, appeared next to him for the first time. If we knew that the wife of a businessman and politician would support the latter in the new elections, which will be held on November 5 in the USA, then the question remained to know when and how she would appear. So the one who kept him away from the limelight finally climbed the steps of the Madison Square Garden stage in New York to everyone’s surprise.

“Imagine America the Great”

The former model made a 4-minute speech before the crowd. Dressed in a long zebra dress, she first expressed her love for the Big Apple, this “excellent industrial hub where the leaders of finance, fashion and entertainment meet”. After the praise, Melania Trump was quick to address the negative aspects of the city, led by Democrat Eric Adams, particularly lamenting its economic instability.

“Imagine a wonderful America where the seeds of safety, prosperity and health are re-planted for the benefit of our families,” he said. Dreams of greatness, which, according to her, could be fulfilled by her husband Donald Trump, the “next commander in chief” of the country. These words greatly moved the latter, who then came to join him on stage to kiss him. At the end of the meeting, he finally left his platform with the exchange rate YMCA under the laughing gaze of the peasant woman.

Donald Trump’s rally, however, caused controversy due to racist and offensive remarks made during the event. Among his supporters who were invited to join him on stage were Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., wrestler Hulk Hogan and comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, among others. The latter, for example, compared Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean,” even though the United States hosts a large population of Puerto Ricans.
