Through social media, some fans speculated that the single features rhythms from the “Soda Pop” genre following a comment from the singer himself. Jin in an ARMY post on Weverse. According to internet users, the genre ‘combines elements of pop, rock, and electronic music, and is characterized by its catchy beat and melody, which usually mixes synthesizers and other electronic instruments’.

Additionally, in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jin described his new mini-album by buying it with the flavor of ice cream:
Without giving away any spoilers… I think it will be fun to perform. It’s different (the performance) for each song, so I can’t say for sure, but if I had to compare it to a flavor of ice cream, we have dark chocolate, soda and sweets in general. I hope you’re excited!”

On October 14th, Jin had already confirmed the release date of the mini-album “Happy”. As revealed through a teaser published on BTS’ social networks and BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency that manages the group’s career, the album will be released on November 15th!
