The most expensive lot was the Iron Throne, a copy of which went under the hammer for $1.49 million in six minutes of bidding. The metallic plastic throne is a die-cast replica of the original from the series.
In total, 900 lots were put up for auction, including weapons, costumes and scenery, and $21 million was raised. Jon Snow’s sword sold for $400,000, and Jamie Lannister’s royal guard costume sold for $212,000. Daenerys Targaryen’s gray suede suit was sold for 112.5 thousand dollars, exceeding the starting price by exactly 100 thousand.
