The Joker sequel starring Lady Gaga flopped at the US box office

Joker: Madness for Two disappointed in its opening weekend, earning just $40 million instead of the expected $50-60 million.

The second part of Joker with Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga failed at the American box office, earning only $40 million over the weekend. It is reported by various.

This was less than the expected $50-60 million, making the film one of the major film failures of the year. The first film earned twice as much in its debut weekend – $96.2 million.

Although the film added another $81 million in international markets, its $121 million gross did not justify the $200 million production cost. Experts believe that the main reason for the failure is the genre of music, which is not popular with a wide audience.
