She lit up the evening on September 23 at the L’Oréal Paris fashion show at the Place de l’Opéra, which kicked off Paris Fashion Week. Wearing a long red dress to match her lipstick and sporting a new platinum blonde hair color, Kendall Jenner first surprised the crowd by appearing at the Grand Hotel’s balcony window overlooking Café de la Paix. As the 28-year-old supermodel blew kisses and waved to the audience with one hand, she spotted a banner proclaiming the famous slogan:I deserve it” (“I deserve it” in French). He then brought up the back of a procession of ambassadors, igniting the podium to cheers from fans, before being joined by other characters from the show. A few hours before the event of the cosmetics brand, whose muse she has become in July 2023, the highest paid model on the planet gave us an interview on the top floor of the Palais Garnier. Summit meeting.
Madame Figaro .- The L’Oréal Paris fashion show will take place this year at the Opéra Garnier. Have you been here before?
Kendall Jenner: Yes, I’ve been there before for an event I attended and it was so impressive. The event was held only in the main room, which currently houses the show’s hair and makeup artists (OR: Grand Foyer” Opera Garnier, Editor’s Note). Everything else was closed, but we managed to squeeze in. We were able to walk around when everything was completely quiet and saw the entire theater and auditorium completely empty.
Your favorite monument in Paris?
I love the Sacré-Cœur and enjoy this magnificent view. Seeing the city from this place is really special.
This parade highlights the sorority. What does this concept represent to you?
Sisterhood is very important to me. I share a sisterhood in my home, but also with my friends and here at L’Oréal Paris. So it makes a lot of sense to me. I think just supporting women in general is a very powerful thing and it feels good to do it.
You have grown up in front of cameras since the age of 11 and operate in a very competitive industry. How do you maintain your self-esteem?
Good question! I think I had a lot of trouble maintaining my self-esteem and feeling good all the time. Growing up in this industry with social media and the comments that people can make and make you feel… I think as I get older I get stronger and stronger through it all. I found my strength in it. And I also learned to love myself more because of it. It’s hard, there are days when it’s not. But yeah, I think it was a really big lesson and I always try to turn it into something positive.

You have spoken publicly about your anxiety. What advice would you give to women going through the same thing as you?
It’s a daily job to protect yourself as much as possible, maintain and know your limits for certain things. But sometimes it gets better and you become the victim. Know your limits, know your limits safe places and knowing what might be helpful, I don’t think it’s a one-size-fits-all solution. Everyone has their own way of dealing with a situation or generating anxiety. My biggest tip would be to set your boundaries and know what works for you and what doesn’t.

Who are your beauty icons?
I have so many beauty icons. I think it’s mostly Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy today, just because I’ve gone blonde. But even beyond that, I love it. I thought he was beautiful and he was the coolest person ever. I have many others. I’m dressed a little like Audrey Hepburn today, I’ve always loved her since I was little. But I have so many, I think I could list a million. I’m really inspired by the 1990s at the moment. Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow in the 1990s and today too. They are still so gorgeous!
