At the time of the announcement, Princess Theodora expressed her excitement, explaining on her social media that she was “delighted at the thought of marrying this extraordinary man.” The wedding, planned for 2020, was finally postponed, first due to the pandemic and then after the death of the former king of the Hellenes in 2023. After this long wait, the couple thus begins a new chapter in their lives.
