5 October premieres we’re excited to see

With titles scheduled to debut in theaters and on streaming, discover a list of films and series that deserve to be seen in October!

The month of October is full of firsts! Whether on TV or in cinemas, there are several titles that will be shown and will join the vast catalog of streaming platforms, including series, films of different genres and formats.

With this content in mind, RECREIO put together a list of 5 productions that are worth checking out during the 31 days of the tenth month of the year; check it out!

1. Joker: Delirium for Two

Sequel to the film that premiered in 2019 under the direction of Todd Phillipsand starring Joaquin Phoenix“Joker: Delirium for Two” can be seen on the big screen starting next Thursday, 03.

The story should address the beginning of the romance between the Clown of Crime and Harley Quinn, who, in this production, is played by the singer and actress Lady Gaga.

2. Heartstopper — Season 3

Also in October 3, The third season of “Heartstopper” premieres, a Netflix series that adapts the comic book of the same name, created by the author Alice Oseman.

The eight new episodes of the romance plot that covers the story of Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), have the following synopsis:

“Charlie would like to tell Nick he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As summer vacation ends and the months pass, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with joys and challenges. 3. Superman & Lois — Season 4

“Superman & Lois” also couldn’t be left out of the list, a story that will end in the fourth season, scheduled to air from October 7thon the CW. In Brazil, there is still no confirmed release date for the final episodes to be made available, but the other seasons of the production are available in the Max catalog.

4. Wild Robot

From DreamWorks Animation, “Robô Selvagem” is also an adaptation of the book of the same name by Peter Brownaward-winning and #1 New York Times bestseller. The animation goes on display on October 10th.

The synopsis released by Universal says: “The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot — the ROZZUM 7134 unit, “Roz” — who is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the hostile environment, gradually building relationships with the native animals, and even adopting an orphaned baby goose.”

5. Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story

“Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story”, is the documentary directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedguiwhich tells the trajectory of Christopher Reeveactor who played Clark Kent/Superman in four films released between the end of the 1970s and mid-1980s, and became a reference in the interpretation of the hero.

More than the cinematic rise of Reevethe documentary, which premieres on October 17th, It will also cover the aftermath of an accident that left him paralyzed, showcasing his subsequent work as a disability rights activist, film career in front of and behind the camera, and positive relationship with his family.
