Discover a list of reasons to secure a ticket and watch “Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2” on the big screens of national cinemas
A sequel to the 2018 film, ‘Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2’ follows three friends who live in Resende, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, and want to travel to Salvador, Bahia, to celebrate 15 years of friendship and watch the closing show of the tour of a great Pop Star with whom they studied together as teenagers — and who is also the ex-boyfriend of one of them. The film officially premieres on October 10th in national cinemas, but RECREIO has already watched the entire plot and put together a list of the main reasons to guarantee a ticket and watch the new story on the big screen; check it out!

1. REFERENCES
The plot, directed by Marco Antonio de Carvalhois different from the first project that hit theaters, as well as bringing new characters, but fans of “Tudo Por Um Pop Star” (2018) were graced with several references to the first film.
This is because the 67 Beetle that carries the protagonists Duda (Gabriella Saraivah), Bia (Bela Fernandes) and Julinha (Laura Castro) to another city is again Maneco, Babete’s car (Giovanna Lancellotti) which, for the new story, gained a new look through a special painting, gaining colorful hearts, flowers and other details.
Furthermore, the school where Manuela (Klara Brown), Rita (Honey Maia) and Gabi (Maisa Silva) studied is the same as the new characters. In fact, the trio from the first film is mentioned in a karaoke scene by the current protagonists as “old friends from Resende”.
2. SPECIAL PARTICIPATIONS
In addition to references, the film by Panorâmica Filmes in co-production with Star Original Productions and RioFilme, stands out for its special appearances that bring even more connection with the first feature film, after all, the audience can count on appearances by Giovanna Lancellottithe interpreter of Babete, as well as Maite Padilha and Barbara Maiaactresses who played Danielle and Maitê, members of the rival trio of Manuela, Rita and Gabi.
The creator of history, Thalita Rebouçasalso appears in the plot as Margô, owner of the karaoke where Manuela, Rita and Gabi meet again the Pop Star who studied with them: Diggy (Lucas Burgatti).

3. AUTHOR MUSIC
Another positive point is the inclusion of more original songs that connect with the story! There are three in total: “Sou Seu Pop Star”, “Namora Comigo” and “Cara Viajante”, performed by Lucas Burgatti.
In the plot it is also possible to follow “Tudo Por Um Pop Star”, a track presented in the first title, which this time received live, acoustic and karaoke versions, and “Made My Day”, a song that gained the voices of John William Avila and Klara Brown in the project launched six years ago.
4. ADVENTURE AND COMEDY GUARANTEED
As for the plot itself, addressing themes such as love and friendship, “Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2” brings several moments of adventure and comedy, since, during the trip that crosses states, the trio goes through several hardships on the road, one of which is getting involved in a kidnapping that takes place for a somewhat unusual reason and brings fun twists and turns to the public.

And, of course, all of this would not be possible without the cast, which in addition to names already mentioned such as Gabriella Saraivah, Bela Fernandes, Laura Castro, Lucas Burgatti, Giovanna Lancellotti and Thalita Rebouçasalso brings Karoliny Mariano, John Manuel, Ana Barbara Malachi, Clarissa Muller, Esther Dias, Angela Peace, Renata Castro Barbosa, Maite Padilha, Barbara Maia, Hugo Gloss, Caio Morning and Peter Quintela.
