Last Thursday, the 19th, during Geeked Week, Netflix released a small preview of the behind-the-scenes of the 2nd season of “Wandinha”. According to the actress Catherine Zeta-Joneswho plays Morticia Addams in the production, the second year “will be bigger and more sinister than we can imagine”; check it out below!
The official premiere date for the second season has not yet been announced, but according to the video, it will arrive on streaming in 2025.

Under the direction of Tim Burton and starring the actress Jenna Ortega“Wednesday” follows the dark young member of the Addams family at Nevermore Academy, as she learns to master her psychic abilities and unravels mysteries about her family and the town where she studies.
The series was a success as soon as it arrived on Netflix, enchanting both older audiences, who became fans of the character through the “Addams Family” films and comics, and younger audiences, going viral with everything from cosplayers of the characters to songs from the soundtrack.
However, in mid-May of this year, with the start of filming for the 2nd season, Netflix announced that one of its actors would be leaving the cast of the series permanently. Percy Hynes Whitewho played Xavier Thorpe, a potential love interest of the protagonist, will not return to the series due to allegations of sexual harassment while living in Canada between the ages of 17 and 20. Until then, we do not know who will replace the actor or if the character will have some kind of “hiatus” in the story.
