Last Thursday, the 19th, the first episode of the series “Penguin”, a spin-off of the film “The Batman”, directed by Matt Reevesfocused on the villain played in the franchise by the actor Colin Farrell. The plot, which will have eight chapters, is set two days after the events of the 2022 film.

Being one of Batman’s best-known enemies, Penguin, whose real name is Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, appeared in comics in 1941, developed by the hero’s own creators, Bill Finger and Bob Kane.

Many of his weapons are designed to resemble umbrellas, due to his habit of always carrying one since he was very young.
