Discover what the true identity of the mysterious character played by actor Joe Locke in ‘Agatha Since Forever’ might be
The countdown to the premiere of ‘Agatha Since Always’ is coming to an end! The title arrives this Wednesday, the 18th, in the Disney+ catalog, to solve several questions that have been in the heads of the villain’s fans after the end of “WandaVision” and others that have arisen through the series’ promotional materials, one of which is: who is the character of Joe Locke?
It is worth remembering that, known for having played Charlie Spring in “Heartstopper”, Locke was confirmed in the cast of the series in November 2022, and since then small clues have been revealed about the role he will play, as the identity of the character who is referred to only as “Teen” (teenager, in free translation), has never been revealed.
A reincarnation?
According to the ScreenRant portal, the figure played by Locke was described as a “familiar” of Agatha Harkness, which is the term used for a witch’s helper, who is responsible for fulfilling all the desires and needs of the witch they serve.
More than that, his origin may have been revealed through a poster published on September 13. In the image, Locke appears wearing a tricolor shirt in shades of gray, red and white, as well as wearing a blue headband; look!
With the new art, fans’ old suspicions gained strength: Locke is Wiccan! That’s because the colors of the clothes, which are reminiscent of the clothes worn in the 80s, are the same ones worn by Billy Maximoff, Wanda’s son — confused? Don’t worry, RECREIO will explain.
In the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse, the MCU, Billy Maximoff (Julian Hilliard) disappears after the reality created by Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) be undone in Westview, which is the main reason for the chaos seen in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, since she wants, at all costs, to bring the boys back to life.
In Marvel Comics, the loss happens differently, as it is explained that Wanda’s children came to life through fragments of Mephisto’s soul, but at a certain point, they end up ceasing to exist through the actions of this demon, leaving Wanda devastated. However, the boys’ souls are reincarnated, and Billy ends up returning as Billy Kaplan, son of Jeff and Rebecca Kaplan, adopting the heroic codename Wiccan.
Wiccan?
Introduced in the comic “Young Avengers” #1 in April 2005, Billy Kaplan/Wiccan is introduced as a young man whose powers involve the manipulation of electricity. Over time, Billy discovers that this ability comes from controlling magic, allowing him to explore other powers, since, in addition to flying, summoning elements of nature and teleporting, he can also predict the future and create realities — just like Wanda!
He, who becomes a member of the Young Avengers, also has as one of the main points of his story, the romance with Hulkling, a Kree/Skrull hybrid with whom Wiccano ends up marrying.
In some interviews, Locke ended up revealing that the sexuality of the character he plays will be addressed in ‘Agatha Since Always’, which further increased the suspicions of fans who still did not know the information. “The way this is explored in the series is very true and very positive. His sexuality is just a part of the character,” he said in an interview with ComicBookMovie (via Omelete).

The doubt will be officially clarified at 10 pm today, the 18th, the date and time that the first two episodes of ‘Agatha Desde Sempre’ premiere on Disney’s streaming platform. With eight episodes, the remaining chapters should be released weekly until October 30th.
