On Tuesday, the 10th, the broadcaster KBS announced some details about its new musical reality show “I Am a Singer”, including recordings of episodes in locations outside South Korea and the presence of several idols.
The reality show will feature 100% live performances, opening its stage to everyone through a format that will invite K-pop fans and renowned international musicians to come together and perform together, creating an interactive and engaging environment.
“I Am a Singer” will be filmed in Munich, Germany, and Mallorca, Spain, with the participation of Jongho and Hongjoongfrom ATEEZ, from Hwasafrom MAMAMOO, from the soloist Suzy (former member of miss A), and singers Henry Lau, Sohyang, An Shinae and Sunwoo JungA. In addition, special guests from the local culture will also join the artists and participants of the reality show, such as the Vienna Boys’ Choir, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the opera singer Placido Domingo and the Spanish/German singer Alvaro Soler.
The reality show is set to premiere on KBS 2TV on November 2, with a representative from the network assuring that it is different from other programs of the same style:
