Last Sunday, the 8th, ODDATELIER, a Jenniefrom BLACKPINK, responsible for managing his solo career, announced a new partnership with Columbia Records, a famous American record label, anticipating his new comeback as a soloist, scheduled to arrive in October.
In BLACKPINK, Jennie was the first member to start individual activities, making her official debut as a soloist in 2018. However, while still a trainee, the idol had the opportunity to participate in some projects by other artists.
Her first participation was in the song “Special”, by the soloist Lee Hireleased in 2013, three years before debuting alongside Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa.

The year 2023 marked the end of his individual contract with YG Entertainment, and the growth of his solo activities. In the month of June, Jennie released the song “One Of The Girls”, a single that is part of the HBO series “The Idol”, in which he participated. Singing alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Deppthe track was responsible for breaking numerous records, in addition to granting the BLACKPINK member the title of first Korean soloist in the history of the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) to earn a platinum certification with a single.
Already in October, Jennie officially released the track “You and Me” on streaming platforms, after almost a year of performing the song at the “BORN PINK” tour shows. In addition to the original version, the remix version presented by the artist at the Coachella music festival, where BLACKPINK was the headliner, was also released.
