On Wednesday, the 4th, concert organizer Applewood surprised EXO fans by announcing that all shows on the “SU:HOME” tour will be held on Suholeader of the group, in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Warsaw and Dubai are canceled. The performances were scheduled to take place between September 10 and 20.
According to the statement shared on social media, the cancellation was due to “insufficient preparations by the local promoter,” Twisted Talent. The note also highlights that the decision was made with the safety of fans and the artist in mind, in addition to the concern to guarantee the quality of the show.
Applewood and SM Entertainment apologized to fans, noting that the cancellation was not made lightly, and that further details regarding ticket refunds would be shared by the local promoter soon. No information has been released about possible new dates at this time.
Due to the proximity of the concert date, many fans expressed their displeasure on social media, considering that many had made extensive preparations for the performances, including travel plans and hotel reservations.
In the comments of the note published on Instagram, it is possible to see fans pointing out the following complaints: “it’s always the European fans who constantly suffer with cancellations, why do you hate us”; “people have already booked their flights, accommodations and everything, how can you cancel the entire tour a few days before????
