Min Hee Jin, former CEO of ADOR, will produce for NewJeans for just two more months, according to HYBE’s new contract; find out!
This Friday, the 30th, it was reported through the South Korean portal Newsen (via Koreaboo) that Min Hee Jinformer CEO of ADOR, will only produce for NewJeans for two more months. In an official statement shared by her and her legal counsel, both criticize the new contract that contains the information. Read the translation below:
On August 27, ADOR’s board of directors told the media that former CEO Min Hee Jin would be allowed to continue to be in charge of NewJeans production.
However, this is a one-sided piece of media that has nothing to do with Min Hee Jin’s personal intentions and she does not agree with any of the contents stated in the report.
Then, on August 28th, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ju Young Kim, sent a contract regarding the delegation of work to Min Hee Jin.
There are many things in the contract that are one-sided and irrational, and many points that are difficult to understand from a common sense point of view, although they revealed through the media that it was supposed to be an offer for her to continue alongside the production.
The contractual term provided for in the work delegation contract is from August 27, 2024 to November 1, 2024, just two months and six days.
NewJeans successfully concluded their fan meeting at Tokyo Dome in June and are planning a world tour for 2025. It’s incredible to think that they think that preparations and production for an idol group’s world tour can be done in just two months. With this, the directors assigned by HYBE to ADOR are proving that they do not have the necessary knowledge to complete their main tasks.
Just based on the unconventional contract period, it is clear to us that their claim that every decision will be in the best interest of NewJeans was false and just a media ploy.
After the incident, ADOR’s board of directors demanded that Min Hee Jin sign the new contract by this Friday, August 30, which she vehemently denied.
