After controversial comments about schooling time, LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae personally apologized to fans
This Thursday, 29th, Eunchaeof LE SSERAFIM has apologized for controversial comments about schooling time. The idol’s statement was made during the comeback showcase held in Seoul, South Korea, to promote the group’s fourth mini-album, “Crazy”.
“As I considered this a time to communicate with fans, I unconsciously became too comfortable. I should have known that the closer we got, the more I should have been cautious, but I failed to think about it deeply. I apologize for my immature behavior and for disappointing everyone. Moving forward, I will strive to be more careful and responsible,” said the idol.
The apology came because, Eunchae began to receive criticism in March of last year, due to a comment on a Weverse live broadcast, where she stated: “You guys go to school for a long time. It must be hard.” That same year, in September, she exposed in a conversation with fans that she did not understand why they had to study at school, bringing more negative comments, as her statements were considered mockery by some netizens.
About “Crazy”, the album will be officially released on August 30, 2024 with a music video for the title track of the same name, thus marking LE SSERAFIM’s first return to promotional activities in about six months, since the group’s most recent release to date is “Easy”, a mini-album that arrived on music streaming platforms in February.
