We tested Glow House, the new shape and radiance concept from Clarins at Mas Candille in Mougins.

Mas Candille in Mougins has finally reopened its doors after two years of operation. This iconic 5-star hotel in the south of France (20 minutes from Nice) called upon architect Hugo Toro, who was inspired by California, to revisit this address on the Côte d’Azur, offering 46 rooms and suites. The place has also been enriched with a new spa operated by the Clarins brand.

The latter decided to launch a new concept there: Glow House. As its name suggests, you meet there to work on your radiance, but also to relax, unwind and re-energise.

In the program: a holistic adventure where plant-based treatments, LED technology and practitioner gestures are harmonized over several sessions. Because this is where Glow House innovates; offers hotel guests as well as non-hotel guests a specially prepared program for two or four days. To be selected according to your needs after consultation with a practitioner, these retreats offer a focus on shape and radiance (Reset & Glow for those aiming to relax and de-stress, Shape & Glow to focus on shape and weight loss, and Beauty Glow for youth and radiance). have combined various treatments (including the Supreme Glow treatment, see insert). But also sports coaching, pedicures and/or manicures or even an LED session in an immersive Glow capsule. All this with breaks where you can enjoy an outdoor pool, sauna, hammam or even a cold shower. But also wellness menus (including a delicious Niçoise salad or an octopus salad, the chef’s specialty) are served in the hotel’s bar-restaurant. The latter allows for a lunch break at the edge of the venue’s second pool, immersing us in the Palm Springs atmosphere desired by the decorator.

Guests will also find iconic Clarins treatments on the spa menu, including the soothing Aroma Facial, inspired by Ayurvedic practices, perfect for relaxation (our favorite). Or the Clarins Precious treatment, which combines a line of products of the same name based on the Queen of the Night, a flower with anti-aging properties.

For an afternoon of well-being or a truly dedicated two-to-four day break, Glow House stands out as the meeting place for the new glow of the French Riviera. To discover this summer as well as the rest of the year, as the hotel remains open even in winter.
