On Saturday, August 23, a Trump campaign rally was held in Arizona. After the presidential candidate’s speech, the song My Hero Foo Fighters was played in the hall.
US presidential candidate Donald Trump made another attempt to use a musical hit in his election campaign and was once again involved in a scandal. CNN reported it.
This time, the former US President chose the song My Hero by the famous American rock band Foo Fighters. However, the group did not give permission to use their 1997 hit in Trump’s election campaign.
“The Foo Fighters were not asked for permission, and if they were asked, they would not have given it,” a spokesperson for the band said in a statement.
Therefore, the rock band decided to take revenge on Trump in a unique way: the musicians plan to send royalties for the use of the song to the election campaign of Donald Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris.
This is not the first time musicians have challenged the use of their music at a Republican presidential candidate’s rally.
