Taeil leaves NCT after scandal revealed

We recently learned that Taeil has been charged in a criminal case related to a sexual crime.

Upon evaluating the facts regarding this matter, we recognize the seriousness of the situation and have determined that Taeil can no longer continue his activities with the team (NCT). After discussing with Taeil, we have decided to have him leave the group.

Taeil is currently cooperating fully with the police investigation. We will provide further statements as the investigation progresses.

We deeply apologize for the concern and distress caused to our artist.”

Despite the revelation, SM has not yet given details about the case, which is still under investigation by the South Korean justice system. As of the publication of this article, Taeil has not yet commented on the matter.
