Mnet’s new survival reality show, “Road To Kingdom: ACE OF ACE,” has a premiere date: the show will air for the first time on September 19!
It is worth remembering that “Road To Kingdom: ACE OF ACE” will be different from “Road To Kingdom”, a 2020 program that served as a prequel for male k-pop groups to compete in “Kingdom”, functioning as an independent title.
This is because the new show aims to highlight talented and promising boy groups as part of the “K-pop Boy Group Rising Project”, and to this end, the new show will bring THE NEW SIX, The CrewOne (ATBO and JUST B), 8TURN, ONEUS, YOUNITE, CRAVITY and TEMPEST, as competitors, challenging them in new concepts and unique performances.
Furthermore, the program, directed by Jo Woo Riknown for hosting “Queendom” in 2019, will also host it Taeminfrom SHINee, as a solo MC.
It is worth remembering that, in preparation for the premiere of “Road To Kingdom: ACE OF ACE”, Mnet has already released two teasers, the first to introduce the participating groups, while the second reveals some images of the competition, as well as personal recordings of the idols during their childhood and records of the groups’ trainee days; remember below!
