On the morning of this Tuesday, the 27th, the actor Ryan Reynolds shared on his X profile (old Twitter) a deleted scene from the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine”. The scene shows the character Gambit, played by Channing Tatumon the battlefield where he and the other ancient Marvel heroes faced Cassandra Nova and her henchmen.

The highlight of the scene is the reflection of an interdimensional portal in Gambit’s eyes, indicating that he also managed to escape the Void. Check it out:

*whispers* Marvel glowing circle,” the caption reads.

Still according to the publication of Ryan Reynoldsthe scene appears during the film, but on one of the AVT (Time Variance Authority) monitors, right in the background:

A version of the sequence is in the film – on one of the monitors in the back of the TVA.”

Before Disney bought 20th Century Fox, the studio had big plans for the X-Men, including a solo Gambit film announced in 2014. However, after years in development, the film was shelved, as were other mutants, such as Kitty Pryde and Multiple Man.

But in a recent interview with Variety, Channing Tatum showed interest in playing the character again in the movies.

I’ve been saying I want this movie for ten years. Now it’s in the hands of Bob Iger (Disney chairman) and Kevin Feige (Marvel chief).”
