Intensified curfews were introduced in the communities of Pokrovskaya, Selidovskaya, Kurakhovskaya and Konstantinovskaya in the Donetsk region. The head of the regional administration, Vadim Filashkin, announced this on Tuesday, August 27.
By decision of the authorities, in the settlements of Selidovskaya and Kurakhovskaya communities there are restrictions on the movement of citizens from 15.00 to 11.00, and in the territory of the Konstantinovskaya community – from 17.00 to 9.00.
Restrictions were also introduced in the community of Pokrovsk and the city of Pokrovsk. They will last from 15.00 to 11.00.
The head of the OVA called on all residents of the Donetsk region to evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine, and those still remaining in the region to obey the curfew.
“I encourage everyone: be responsible, evacuate,” added Filashkin.
A complete list of settlements subject to a long curfew: Pokrovsk, Rodinskoye, Rosa, Lysovka, Ignatovka, Dachenskoye, Zelenoe, Novopavlovka, Novoukrainka, Rog, Sukhoi Yar, Chunishino, Pushkino, Zheltoye.
It was previously reported that authorities called on residents of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd and Selidovo to evacuate.
