Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Goldenness, who always sends their love and support to Golden Child.

We recently renewed our contract with five members of Golden Child: Jangjun, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Donghyun, and Joochan.

We will continue to invest in and support the five members, along with Daeyeol and Y, based on the mutual trust we have built so far, so that they can shine during their activities.

After in-depth discussions with TAG, Jibeom and Bomin, it has unfortunately been decided that, as of today, our management contract with them will be terminated. We sincerely thank TAG, Jibeom and Bomin who have been with us for a long time and support their future endeavors.

Due to this, Golden Child will continue their activities as seven members and welcome their fans through various solo and group activities.

Please continue to give your support and love to the seven members of Golden Child.

Thanks.”

It is worth remembering that Golden Child debuted in 2017 through the release of the extended play ‘Gol-Cha!’, and the most recent formation had 10 members ( Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, Tag, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan and Bomin).

The most recent release with the old lineup came nine months ago with the release of “Feel Me,” from the group’s third single album of the same name, released on November 2. At the time, Y did not participate in the promotion of the album, as he began military enlistment in March 2023, with his discharge scheduled for September 19 of this year. Remember!
