He already has all the makings of a future champion. At age 7, Rose Manaudou, daughter of Adeline Tarraga and Nicolas Manaudou, older brother to Laura and Floran Manaudou, excels at discipline. He has been engaged in high-level rock climbing for several years now and is already participating in national competitions. The mountaineer regularly posts pictures of her exploits on Instagram. But while they have more than 2,300 followers, her biggest fans remain her family members.

Through her publications, the little girl really caused a sensation among her uncle and aunt. “Very strong my niece, am I waiting for you to play together?” wrote Florent Manodou on July 15th after his niece took first in the Mondial d’Escalade in Briançon in combined bouldering, speed and difficulty. He was followed by his brother (Rose’s father) who exclaimed: “My champion. I’m so proud of you my love. You give us completely crazy emotions. Keep it up, your parents will always be there to facilitate your journey to excellence.”

Nicholas Manaudou, the elder of the clan

Nicolas Manodou, now 38, is a French swimming coach who is largely responsible for the success of his brother and sister. he is known for allowing his brother to reach his high level of swimming. In 2007, under the tutelage of her captain, Florent Manadou became the French cadet champion in the 50m freestyle, then qualified for the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, where she finished 5th. After some family conflict and Nicholas’ feelings of gratitude towards his brother and sister, the trio reconciled and got a joint tattoo to symbolize their bond.

On the love front, Nicholas became a father to baby Soane in 2012, before splitting from his mother in 2014. Then the coach found love next to Adeline Tarraga, who works as an ATSEM in Marseille. In 2016, they became parents to little Rose, who was closely followed by her sister, Romi, who was born in 2018.
