Disney+ K-Drama ‘Knock-Off’ Casts ‘Queen of Tears’ Actor

Kim Soo-hyun, known for his role in the k-drama “Queen of Tears”, will star in the new South Korean production “Knock-Off” on Disney+; find out more!

According to information from Deadline, the actor Kim Soo-hyunknown for his role in “Queen of Tears”, alongside the actress Jo Bo-ahfrom “The Tale of the Nine Tails”, will star in the new Disney+ k-drama “Knock Off”; Check out the official post on X (old Twitter):

The new South Korean production is scheduled to hit streaming in 2025, and will have as its main plot subject (via Omelete) the universe of counterfeit products. Kim Soo-hyun will play the character Kim Seong-joon, an office worker who faces a major transformation in his life due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis. In turn, Jo Bo-ah will take on the role of Song Hye-jung, a police officer dedicated to combating the trade of counterfeit goods, as well as being the protagonist’s ex-girlfriend.

The series proposes a realistic view of the impact of the illicit market on the lives of ordinary people, in addition to focusing on a possible romance between the two characters.

Both “Queen of Tears” and “The Tale of the Nine Tails”, productions previously starring the actors, are available on Netflix.
