According to South Korean police, the investigation into Suga’s electric scooter incident has been completed; find out more!
According to South Korean portal TV Chosun, the investigation into Sucksof BTS, regarding the incident in which he drove an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol, has been concluded. On Monday, the 26th, the Yongsan Police informed reporters that they plan to forward the idol’s case to prosecutors later this week.
Furthermore, the officials also revealed that the scooter that Sucks was driving at the time of the incident did not require the use of a license plate, which eliminated any controversy regarding the vehicle.
The case was reported earlier this month, during the early hours of August 7, when Sucks was found by a police officer after falling down on the street alone. When he approached to help him, the officer smelled alcohol, which resulted in him receiving a ticket and having his driver’s license confiscated.
According to South Korea’s Highway Traffic Law, driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher is punishable by a fine of between ₩5.00 million Won (about US$20,148) and ₩10.0 million Won (about US$40,240) or a prison sentence of 1 to 2 years.
