Pete Docter, director of “Inside Out” and screenwriter of the sequel, revealed a possible continuation for Riley’s journey; find out more!
In a recent interview with the Fandango channel, Pete Docterdirector of “Inside Out” and screenwriter of the sequel, expressed that he and Pixar are thinking about possibilities for a possible continuation of the franchise:
Right now we’re talking about, ‘Okay, if we were to do something, what would that look like?’ And we’re trying to come up with ideas. Who knows?”
Considering the box office success and the positive critical response to both films, a sequel would likely be very well received by the public. Furthermore, the “Inside Out” spin-off has already been confirmed by the studio, even receiving an official logo during D23, an official Disney event held at the beginning of August in Anaheim, California; check it out!

The story of “Dream Productions” will be set in Riley’s mind, in a place that is similar to a Hollywood studio, where the girl’s dreams and nightmares are planned and take shape. The premiere is scheduled for 2025, through Disney+.
