Taylor Swift broke a record with “The Eras Tour” that, until then, only Michael Jackson had achieved; find out which one!
After performing at Wembley Stadium in London, Taylor Swift surpassed a record that, until then, only Michael Jackson had achieved: the pop artist became the solo singer with the most performances at the venue with “The Eras Tour”. During the show, Taylor expressed his gratitude to fans (via BBC):
You have just made me the first solo artist to play Wembley eight times in a single tour. We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for that.”
Michael Jacksonnow occupying second place on the list, performed at the stadium seven times during the 1988 “Bad Tour”. On the other hand, Take That continues to lead among groups, with eight performances at Wembley during the “Progress Tour”, held in 2011.
Taylor Swift kicked off “The Eras Tour” in March 2023 in Arizona and has since toured Latin America, including Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, as well as performing shows in Asia and Europe. The tour will conclude in the cities of Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, with the final show scheduled for December 8. Additionally, the performance was recorded for a theatrical release, which is currently available on Disney+.
