BTS’ Suga is expected to be summoned by South Korean authorities soon to provide clarification on the electric scooter incident.
According to South Korean police (via Koreaboo), Sucksfrom BTS, is expected to be summoned soon to give a statement. The artist was caught driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol in early August, after footage of the incident was released on social media.
The police stated that Sucks will not receive privileged treatment, and that your case will be handled with the same seriousness and procedures applied to any other situation once your call schedule is defined:
“A number of things have happened, so the investigation team is adjusting the timeline for the summons. We plan to confirm this this week, and we will not call him on the weekend or late at night,” police said at a press conference reported by South Korean outlet Sports Chosun.
Officials also announced that the session will be restricted, with no public access and, most likely, no photos released to the press. They assured that there will be a detailed investigation into the various suspicions related to the case.
For its part, HYBE is handling the case confidentially. According to a source (via Koreaboo), only those directly involved and a few high-ranking executives have access to information about the incident. The company is carefully preparing for the investigation, while Sucks avoid any external contact as much as possible.
